Started the day with a swim in the spring. Went down there just after 7:30. Cold morning, about 7 or 8 degrees. Diving into the water was as good as it gets when swimming. Stayed for an hour or so.

Came back had breakfast then went in search of internet. As is often the case it wasn't working. The last hope was the library that opened at 3:00.

Arriving back at the caravan park we came across John from Perth, who was riding around Australia. He had come across the Nullabour to the east coast, ridden up to Townsville, then across the Barkley to here. He is going up to Katherine, then across to WA and back down to Perth. 12,000+ kms.

In the middle of the day I went for another swim in the spring by myself.

After I got back from my swim we checked out the library for internet. None. Definitely going to Katherine tomorrow.

Soon after 5:00 the three of us went for a last, and fourth in two days, swim in the spring.

Had tea tonight with John. Unassuming, modest, but amazing adventurer. Hat's off.

,,,go to day 33 - June 11
