Another cold night and another heavy dew in the morning. What was different though was a hot cafe breakfast after riding the 3 or so kms into town; a stark contrast to the basic meal the night before. We took our time over breakfast and didn't get away until almost 10:00 o'clock. Again there was sunshine and blue sky, but for most of the day we rode into a stiff headwind. The headwind blew everyday of the ride through South Australia. A times contending with it was a struggle. Its persistence tested the resolve.

Laura is about 90kms up the road from Clare and we made it, as usual, just after 5:00.
