Stayed at the Stuart caravan park, which was 3 to 4 kms out of town. Camped in our tent the first night and moved into a cabin the second. Had tea in town the first night. Cooked at the caravan park the second.

Made use of the swimming pool. Cold. Just how we like it.

We determined to ride from Alice springs to Tennant Creek in four days. It was the most ambitious we had been. It would involve two 130km days and two 125km days. Three nights and one of them a camp out. Ready to go despite the ambitiousness of what lay ahead.
