Chris showed the way and Ian and I were able to do most of the work. In essence it called for removing the remants of the old frame, constructing a new timber frame around the old and new slabs and setting up beams to hold up the new roof. The opening for the new stairs also had to be created. An important contribution from Chris was the fancy steel work to hold things up and in place. All in all, much new knowledge and a swag of skills have been picked up along the way.
